Body Contouring and Cellulite Treatment - MiniFX
MiniFX by InMode body contouring and cellulite treatment helps manage small, hard to reach areas of unwanted, diet and exercise-resistant fat. From excess fat under the chin and around the neck to fat in the upper arms and knees that won’t budge, these are common concerns for many cosmetic surgery patients. No matter what, spot removal of fat can be tough to get rid of forever.
Liposuction has been one of the most popular and top performed cosmetic procedures for many years. This procedure safely, effectively, and permanently reduces fat and the appearance of cellulite. MiniFX cellulite removal tool can also help smooth and contour the body.
In recent years, nonsurgical or minimally invasive alternatives to liposuction have been becoming more popular. MiniFX non-invasive body contouring treatments don’t need an incision or anesthesia and often come with shorter recovery time.
What is MiniFX for body contouring and cellulite removal?
MiniFX is a new, long-lasting, non-invasive solution to reduce the unsightly appearance of cellulite. Treatment will reshape your body to provide a non-surgical alternative to liposuction. This perfect solution will to get rid of stubborn fat and reduce cellulite in small, hard to reach places such as the neck, arms, and knees to improve your general body contour.
How does MiniFX work and how is it different from BodyFX?
MiniFX, like BodyFX, uses a combination of different clinically proven modalities including radio-frequency energy, deep tissue heating and suction coupled negative pressure. The radio-frequency energy distributes heat to the skin and underlying fat, causing the tissues to heat and contract. The vacuum and controlled energy pulses then work synergistically to provide beautiful body shaping results. MiniFX is for smaller, hard to reach areas like the neck, upper arms and knees whereas BodyFX is for larger areas like the stomach and things.
How safe is MiniFX in removing cellulite?
A series of RF energy is delivered by a succession of pulses at 1 million cycles per second. While this may sound intense, it is very safe. To maximize comfort, the body’s temperature will be constantly monitored, with ongoing accurate feedback of the skin’s temperature. This thermal monitoring provides the utmost in temperature control.
Does it hurt?
Most users find MiniFX comfortable. During treatment, you can expect a warming of your skin and gentle pulling sensation as the radio-frequency and vacuum work to smooth out unwanted stubborn pockets of fat.
How many body contouring sessions are required?
It is recommended that weekly sessions are performed over an eight week period. Gradual improvements in the treatment area can be seen following the first few treatments – with the skin’s surface feeling smoother and softer immediately. A “normal” treatment area is the size of two hands where it takes ten to twenty minutes of treatment per focus area. If the patient has multiple areas where body contouring is wanted, multiple treatment areas can be focused on in one visit.
What kind of post-procedure care is required?
There is absolutely no downtime for MiniFX. It can be a lunchtime procedure. Patients will notice redness and warmth in the treated area which will subside after a few hours. This warmth is equivalent to the sensation felt after a deep tissue massage and will not prevent anyone from their regular activities
